WHAT IS SEEING FOR THE BLIND?
Welcome to Seeing for the Blind! Our committee will be a chapter of a 501c3 non-profit organization called VT Seva, which stands for Volunteering Together for Service. Through this organization, we will be helping expand the Indian digital library for the blind. Our volunteers will proofread articles or chapters of a textbook, which will be provided to blind students to help them prepare for their board exams independently. Volunteering will be completely virtual, and this program is flexible, and you can sign up to volunteer for as many hours as you wish to do, ranging from one to five hours per week throughout the school year. We look forward to volunteering with you all this year!

SANJANA RAMINENI
I’m Sanjana Ramineni (but you can just call me Sanj) and I’m so excited to be a Seeing for the Blind committee head this year. I’m on the trad sci track, but I also really enjoy listening to Spotify and playing the harp. I also love enthusing about various books/movies in my free time, so if anyone wants to engage in a *highly* intellectual conversation about Harry Potter or Umbrella Academy with me, please hit me up! I’m looking forward to working with y’all this semester! :)))
TRISHA KANDI
Hey! My name is Trisha Kandi and I’m excited to be one of your Seeing for The Blind committee heads for this year. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading, singing karaoke, and taking weird selfies. I’m looking forward to working with you guys this year!
