WHAT IS GLOBAL VIRTUAL SCHOOL?
Welcome to Global Virtual School! GVS, a program organized by the Worldwide Education Fund, aims to provide educational opportunities to underprivileged students living in Tajikistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan who have limited access to education due to gender, poverty, and other issues. Through GVS, you will have the opportunity to teach weekly lessons as a virtual English teacher to a classroom of eager and ambitious students. In addition to being a teacher, you can also be a grader or participate in Conversation Club, a program where you can engage in discussions with students to aid them in their conversational speaking. We are super excited to be volunteering with you guys this year!

Hey there! I’m Samanyu Gudipati and I am so excited to be your GVS Committee head for this year(best committee at TAMS.) I will be in charge of setting up the volunteering activities as well as creating slides and presentations for the club. I am also on the CS track and love playing tennis as well as watching CW and Marvel (my personal favorite series is Arrow->). ​Hello, my name is Aditya and I am super excited to be one of your Project Outreach committee heads this year. I will be in charge of all stuff Learn to Be (domestic tutoring) and I am excited to meet and work with all of yall. I am on the computer science track at TAMS and I love to run and watch the cowboys dominate(only during the regular season 😞 #WeDemBoyz ).
